ResumeDr.. Jing CHEN has gotten his Ph.D. degree from ECE, the Johns Hopkins University in 2005, under the guidance of Dr. Jacob B Khurgin. As a doctoral supervisor in Nankai University since 2008, he has published over 100 papers in journals such as Phys. Rev. Lett. , Appl. Phys. Lett. , Opt. Lett. , etc., which have been cited over 2600 times. He has been granted over ten research founding projects, including three from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Research FieldsI am interested in transfering the concepts among different disciplines of advanced physics (including but not limited to non-Hermitian physics, metamaterials, topologic photonics and quantum optics), and in finding and solving paradoxes and controversies of them.
